I’ve been working with New England Fights almost since the very beginning of Wilfong Works in 2018. I wasn’t very familiar with the sport then but I’ve become a fan over the years. One of the things I love about working on NEF events with Matt is his willingness to try different things. We always create pre promotions to promote the event but we often try slightly different approaches. One of my continued challenges is organizing the event footage so we can reference old events in current interviews. As an Editor I pride myself on organization.
Vlog Promotion
The “Unrestricted” vlog series has been one of my favorite projects to work on over the years. The longer documentary-style format allows me to connect the audience with the athletes and tell the real drama of the events. The show works in pre promoting the individual events but also service to strengthen the overall brand and show the athletes and fans the level of entertainment to expect from NEF. Producing mini documentaries on time and on budget in the weeks leading up to an event takes careful planning on both the production side and post production side. NEF and I are always partners in the production process.
