A Sustainable Composite Bridge Story

This project was designed to show case AIT Composites composite bridge technology The process was tested at the University of Maine’s Advanced Structures and Composites Center. It’s always a challenge filming construction projects because you can’t slow the project down and you only get one chance to capture the moment. Safety and pre planning is always critical. I got to collaborate with camera operator Kevin Ely for the West Coast videography.

E-Ticketing Technology Story

The mission for this video was to outline the benefits of digitizing the aggregates industries project workflow. It was a challenging project because much of the subject matter and concepts didn’t lend themselves to visual storytelling. Finding the right visual metaphors and aids became the one of my primary objectives. Reducing a complex subject to a mainstream audience is one of skills I’m continually sharping.

Trimble’s Digital Impact PODCAST

For this project I had to setup and run a two camera interview Cyndee Hoagland a Senior Vice President for Trimble at her home. It’s always challenging setting up for a two camera setup by solo but the added pressure of recording in someone’s home made it more difficult. As with any project planning is the key to success. Working within budget and being adaptable is key to the on going client relationships I work to build. Some projects require a big crew but many projects can be accomplished with me as a solo operator with proper prep time and planning.
